Design system

Two years ago I had my first contact with Golang. I used it for microfrontends in which I generated SSR components for React using Golang and the V8 engine (before React Server Components appeared). Golang served the frontend with data. I was building a large European e-commerce this way, but as it happens in such situations - after some time I knew that I could do some things better.

Last week I published documentation of the Riupress UI library that I created some time ago for the purpose of quickly producing my own projects. The library is based on Vue (TypeScript) and Tailwind, and the Atomic Design architecture.

Atomic design is not a linear process, but rather a mental model. Each organization implementing the design system needs to adapt the approaches used to its needs and then is right time for extended version of Atomic Design.

Vitepress is a documentation application for projects based on Vite and Vue. It works like a normal Vue application, so displaying a Vue component in the documentation will be seamless. The question is worth asking: can Vitepress replace Storybook?
